Every day we encounter different stressors, some are fairly minor while others are larger and can have a greater impact on our well-being. Stress also impacts our physical and mental health, and when we experience long-term stress we can be prone to developing physical illnesses and chronic health issues.
The Recent Life Changes Questionnaire (RLCQ) is an instrument that was developed to look at life change events and their impact on an individual. The questionnaire looks to see how many stressors an individual has experienced in the last 6 or 12 months and determines if the individual had had “high recent life stress.” The inventory below looks at common stressors you may have experienced.
To begin, select a timeframe of the past six months or the past 12 months and then click next.
